I inform, inspire and challenge you at any stage in your life to be all you can be! My mission is to provide expert knowledge and services to help individuals and organizations understand change and empower themselves to manage the various changes occurring within and around them.

To adapt and triunph in our dynamic world, we must learn new attitudes, skills and patterns of coping. We must reassess our views of success and career advancement, and strengthen Quester traits such purpose, intuition, resilience and authenticity. We are born with Quester qualities and can develop courage, confidence, knowledge and strategies to control our lives, if we desire.

I continually search for new and better ways to help people achieve more meaningful, satisfying and productive
lives. A visionary, I have a reputation for being at the leading edge of personal, career and employee develpment strategies. I have pioneered a unique, holistic developmental model of lifelong learning, growth and decision making.

With over 25 years of demonstrated success in the career, empowerment, learning, development and business fields, I am uniquely qualified to write and speak about empowerment and transitions. I have researched life and career transitions, write about change, counsel individuals experiencing transitions and conduct workshops. I have worked as a high school guidance department head, university professor, consulting psychologist, counselor, publicist and other. Most important, I walk the talk.

Universities I have lectured at include University of California, Berkeley and Santa Cruz, and the University of Alberta. I was a visiting fellow at the Institute of Transpersonal Psychology, Palo Alto, am an invited speaker at diverse conferences, and am quoted in varied publications. Professional and community groups on which I have served include chair, Career Change Committee, National Career Development Association, and Advisory Board member, College Admissions Counseling Program, University of California, Berkeley.

My publications are recognized internationally. My book, Dare to Change Your Job and Your Life, has been awarded the Amerian Association for Career Education (AACE) Book Award for excellence and innovation, and has been translated into several languages. My columns have been syndicated on World Wide Media and CanWest newswire. My articles have been printed in publications such as Psychology Today, Toronto Star, Montreal Gazette, Vancouver Sun, San Jose and Silicon Valley Business Journal, Malaysia Business, USA Weekend Magazine, New York Post, South Africa National Magazine, Brazil Super Interessant Especial Magazine, Journal of Employment Counseling and Encyclopedia of Career Decisions and Work Issues. I am regularly featured on North American media broadcasts.

I have lived, worked and studied in a number of locales including Winnipeg, MB, Calgary and Edmonton, AB, Chicago, IL, Palo Alto and San Francisco, CA, Vancouver, BC, and London, England. An avid reader, I enjoy hiking, exploring, art and interior design, dining, stimulating conversation and good movies.
